PPGG’s core mission and its support of women’s and teens rights, choices, and civil rights propels the majority of our donors to give. While giving is always personal, many former PPGG and Planned Parenthood employees continue their support of our mission with annual and monthly gifts. Within our communities, you applaud our efforts to serve underserved Bay Area populations who need health care and cheer on our “wonderful,” comprehensive education programs. On a national level, you support our positive role in enhancing the nation’s health care policies and being a safety net since there is no universal health insurance.
PPGG was there for you when you needed us the most.
“I had an abortion and want others to have the same choices I had.” “Planned Parenthood was there for me when I was in college.” “I once had no health insurance and used your services.” “You were there for me 40 years ago!” “I went to PPGG as a young woman, and you gave me the education I needed.” “Planned Parenthood helped me when I was younger with my first OBGYN check-up.”
You remember when abortion and birth control were legal.
“I began supporting Planned Parenthood by petitioning the legalization of abortions.” “I came of age at a time when birth control was illegal.”
The women in your life are an inspiration to give.
“I have three daughters.” “My late mother was a supporter.” “I want to make sure my daughter has options.” “My daughter used your health services.”
You said it best.
“Giving to Planned Parenthood is the right thing to do.” “Because every child should be wanted.” “I think this is the most important cause in the world.” “Even though I would not choose to have an abortion, I would never decide for another person if they can or cannot access one.” “We need to plan for this generation and future generations.” “It’s a no brainer to support Planned Parenthood.”
