Teen Council Peer Education Program

Thank you very much for your interest in joining Teen Council!

What is Teen Council?

Teen Council is year-long peer education program for teenagers, ages 15 - 18. The young people that make up the Teen Council receive at least 50 hours of training and reach out to their peers, families and communities in formal and informal settings, spreading knowledge and skills to help youth develop healthy sexual attitudes and behaviors.

Teen Council Teens will:

  • Develop education projects for our community
  • Give classroom presentations
  • Co-facilitate workshops for parents and families
  • Write articles for publications
  • Be part of an action research project

Teens are powerful educators & reach their peers in ways that adults could never do! We value your time and contribution!
