Planned Parenthood of Bucks County believes that our sexuality is a fundamental part of being human, and that sexual development begins at birth and continues throughout our lives. For children, adolescents, and younger and older adults, our sexuality should be a positive and healthy expression of who we are. Teenagers are confronted daily with life choices that require thoughtful decision-making and deserve respect. We encourage teenagers to involve trusted, knowledgeable adults in this process. Planned Parenthood of Bucks County envisions a world in which all teenagers base sexual decisions on a thorough understanding of their sexual rights and responsibilities, and all adults recognize that they must take an active part in helping teenagers develop this understanding.
