Planned Parenthood of Bucks County is committed to helping people become empowered advocates for individual freedom and enthuasistic supporters of our organization. Through increased visibility of reproductive health issues and community outreach, we can continue offering quality medical and educational services.
Key issues such as health care reform and access to health care, comprehensive sexuality education and international reproductive rights are top priorities as we move forward with advocacy efforts and legislative outreach. We feel as though prevention, education and action are imperative to creating change around women's health.
Our advocacy program includes:
- Information about up-to-date legislation and current events
- Coordination of citizen participation and volunteer mobilization in rallies and special events
- Opportunity to meet with public officials regarding issues such as comprehensive sexuality education, reproductive rights and health care reform
