Volunteer Information

A Rewarding Experience

Volunteers have been a crucial part of the mission of Planned Parenthood Arizona since 1934. Each year, hundreds of dedicated volunteers help us provide quality health care, educational outreach and political activism within the communities we serve. We offer numerous ongoing volunteer and internship opportunities throughout our agency in areas like education, outreach, and political advocacy as well as patient care and support in our health centers. Each volunteer position is different, and potential volunteers often go through an application, interview and training process before being assigned to their position.

Review open volunteer and internship positions and apply online or for more information please contact the Volunteer Program at (602) 263-2225 or volunteer@ppaz.org

Orientation

Planned Parenthood Arizona offers an orientation session to help get volunteers settled into their new role(s) in our organization.  Training is also provided  -- it varies by volunteer position -- and volunteers have ongoing support from their location manager and the volunteer office.
