Programs for Parents...and Teens

Planned Parenthood Arizona is proud to offer workshops and resources for parents to help open up dialogue with their children around sexuality and sexual health.

 

 

We are all about encouraging parents to talk to their teens, and teens to talk to their parents, about sexual health. Recognizing that parents are the adults that teens most look to for information and support, it is important for this family dialogue to be open and honest. And, the dialogue around sexual health doesn't need to start when children are teens...helping children understand their bodies, building positive self-image, sharing the values of a healthy relationship and empowering children to express when their bodies have been violated...all of these topics are part of the lifelong conversation parents have with their children.

We also host workshops with one of our sexuality education experts. Here are some upcoming dates (details to RSVP to come):
