To our patients:
We informed you a few weeks ago that Planned Parenthood Arizona filed a lawsuit against a new Arizona law that would make it impossible for women using their AHCCCS card to get care from Planned Parenthood. We wanted to provide you an update on this lawsuit.
On Friday, July 27, the United States District Court signed an order stopping the state of Arizona from putting into effect a law that would block AHCCCS-insured patients from preventive health care at our health centers while the lawsuit proceeds.
What does this mean for you? If you are an AHCCCS patient, come to any of our health centers across the state: we are here for you with expert reproductive care that is nonjudgmental and confidential.
We’ve been here for 78 years. And, we will continue to be here for Arizonans – men, women and teens.
We will continue to post updates to keep you informed.
We look forward to serving you soon.Sincerely,
President and CEO, Planned Parenthood Arizona
