Austin Salons Stand with Planned Parenthood

Thank you local salons for Standing with Planned Parenthood.

Our supporters visited  participating Austin-area salons between October 15 and 29 for a “Planned Parenthood” hair cut. A portion of the proceeds was donated to the Austin Stands with Planned Parenthood campaign.
 
Governor Perry’s budget singled out women’s health for severe cuts, eliminating more than 2/3 of funding for basic women’s health care. As a result, Planned Parenthood’s E. 7th Street health center lost all of its government funding that provided free, life-saving health screenings and birth control to more than 4,000 Austinites annually.
