Nuvaring
Dear Nuvaring User,
I am sorry to report that, due to a recent drastic cost increase, we can no longer afford to carry the Nuvaring for less than pharmacy prices. In most cases, our cost would be more than $10 higher to carry the Nuvaring than the price at the pharmacies below. In the interest of keeping services as affordable as we possibly can by controlling our administrative costs, we will no longer be carrying the Nuvaring. Clinic staff will be happy to change your prescription to a less expensive method (birth control pills and the three-month injection average $23 per month) or to call your Nuvaring prescription to the pharmacy of your choice. (As of May 23, 2007, the cost of the Nuvaring ranged between $45 and $57 at local pharmacies including Costco, Target & HEB.)
