Recent examples of Planned Parenthood providing education in the community include:
- Distributing educational information at local college campuses, health fairs, and more
- Teen education at the Austin Children’s Shelter with a focus on healthy relationships and sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention
- Teen education and decision-making skills through the City of Austin’s Summer Youth Employment program
- Educational sessions for female inmates at the Del Valle Jail with a focus on birth control options, STI prevention, healthy relationships, and female reproductive health
