Thank you to everyone who attended and supported Planned Parenthood’s 2010 International Choice for Generations Public Affairs Dinner on October 18. Event underwriters and guests contributed more than $470,000 to provide affordable health care services at Planned Parenthood’s three Austin-area health centers and health education to the Austin community.
Proceeds from this event make it possible for Planned Parenthood to provide high-quality health care and education to more than 33,000 women, men, and teens in our community annually.
Thank you to Kavita N. Ramdas, of the Global Fund for Women, for serving as our keynote speaker; Senator Kirk Watson for serving as our Master of Ceremonies; Ken Stein, Executive Director of the Austin Theatre Alliance, for serving as our auctioneer; event chairs, Joan & David Hilgers and Kelly Hilgers Winship & Adam Winship for their outstanding leadership efforts; and to our event committee, host families, and volunteers for making the event so successful.
