Teens

Confidential, Affordable Services

Services are confidential at our health centers, regardless of the client's age. Parental consent is not needed, but we do encourage teens to let their parents know what's going on in their lives, including their visit to Planned Parenthood.

Teens may receive birth control, STD testing and treatment, reproductive health exams and all other services at our centers.

Fees are very low cost and often free for teens.

Emergency contraception (Next Choice) is available over-the-counter for females ages 17 and older. Teens 16 and younger will need to have a brief health history taken which will be reviewed by a clinician. No physical exam is required. Males 16 and younger may not purchase emergency contraception. There is a fee for emergency contraception.

We report all cases of suspected child abuse as required by law.
