Planned Parenthood

Upper Hudson

What if NY became Like Texas?

Or what if Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood closed its doors?

It's easy to say it couldn't happen here. But the truth is it could. And that's really scary!

Planned Parenthood's promise is that we'll be here, no matter what. For people who have health insurance, and for those who don't. For women, men and teens. For people who need us right now.

And we can't do it without you! Make a one time donation today!

You know what it's like to live in a close knit community. Everyone knows everyone, and everyone looks after everyone. Adults work hard and volunteer long hours so their kids can go to school, play sports, and have fun being kids.

For nearly 100 years, Planned Parenthood has been trusted by families across America. Are you among the one in five women who has counted on Planned Parenthood at some point in her life? If not, you probably know someone who has.

I first went to Planned Parenthood during my freshman year in college. My dad gave me money so I could get birth control. I had a lot more that I wanted to do before starting a family! Maybe you did, too.

Thanks to your support, now I work at Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. I'm a sex educator, help patients at the Albany health center, and speak with low-income neighbors about affordable health insurance. Just like when I grew up, my family, friends, and Planned Parenthood have my back.

I spend a lot of time with students at Albany High School. It's eye-opening how many of them have misunderstandings about anatomy and conception. They have body parts and hormones, and believe me, they're curious!

That's why it was a no-brainer to become a monthly donor for Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood. I'm proud to help sustain our organization's incredible work, and I'm happy to write to you today. You're just as dedicated to exceptional services, honest education and fearless advocacy as I am. We're here for the community because you're here for us!

Our monthly giving club is called Healthy You. Please consider it carefully. I'm not well off, but I know a lot of people need my help. And this is an easy and convenient way to be a hero.

So please join me in making Healthy You successful. Because healthy families and healthy communities are important...no matter what!

Warmest Regards,

Wendy Milligan
