LAS VEGAS - Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada and its parent organization Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains will be hosting its annual Corks and Forks FUN-draising featuring the Emmy-award winning actress, writer, and comedian Carol Leifer. The event, “Paris Nights,” kicks off on Friday, Sept. 23 on the terrace at Chateau Nightclub (at the Paris Hotel and Casino) at 7 pm. This is PPSN's premiere annual fundraiser and all proceeds will benefit PPSN. The public is invited to attend.

Mistress of Ceremonies Kelly Clinton will host the evening’s program .  Other program highlights include a silent action and numerous prize drawings.

"Our three Las Vegas health centers provide essential health care services to our community," said PPSN President and CEO Vicki Cowart.  "We see people every day in need of essential health care such as life-saving cancer screenings, annual exams, and affordable contraception.  Through our educational efforts in the community, we also provide Nevadans with the information they need to make responsible, healthy decisions about their sexual health. As the state’s leading political advocate, we stand up for commonsense policies that support women and families. We are so thankful to have event sponsors who recognize the important work we do and who make this night possible."

Event tickets include entertainment, wine and exquisite hors d’oeuvres.  Attendees can also participate in the silent auction and bid on luxury items ranging from a year’s membership at the exclusive Stirling Club to dinner for four at La Cave with tickets to Le Reve. Other silent auction items include a gorgeous handbag by Marc Jacobs, a hotel “staycation” with dinner and wine at the Artisan, and other amazing items.

Guests will also have the opportunity to sign up for a drawing and possibly take home show tickets, confections from The Cupcakery monthly for a year, and much more.
