President's Council

The President's Council is a vital group of dedicated individuals committed to sustaining Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest's ability to serve women, men and families in our three-county region. President's Council members are PPPSW's most generous annual contributors, giving $1,000 or more each year, and providing the insight, guidance and core support that fuel every one of our services, from vaccines and ultrasounds to teacher trainings and security.

"One of the best reasons (among many) to join the President's Council is the terrific Speakers Series. The Council presents many timely and interesting speakers that aim to educate and entertain on important Planned Parenthood issuesit's why I continue to support the President's Council."

Marcie Rothman
President's Council member

In addition to special insider reports and a commemorative bookmark, members of the President's Council receive invitations to our renowned Speakers Series events. Held in local homes, these intimate gatherings allow members to meet like-minded supporters and hear from a wide range of experts on issues affecting Planned Parenthood. In recent years, these speakers have included best-selling authors and collegiate professors, the director of a stem cell program, a sexuality education teacher, a leader of the international reproductive health rights movement, and Cecile Richards herself. At our most recent Speakers Series event in October, women's rights activist Sandra Fluke spoke about her meteoric rise to the political stage and the implications of the presidential election.
