Empowerment Luncheon 2013

 


Empowerment Luncheon

The 7th Empowerment Luncheon that was held on September 17th was a huge success. Keynote speaker Loretta Ross, an expert on reproductive rights, spoke about health care reform and its impact on women of color. Proceeds from this event benefit community programs like the Young Women’s Health Conference, providing young women with the tools and information they need to make healthy choices.

Young Women's Health Conference
The Young Women’s Health Conference is a highly anticipated yearly event in San Bernardino County, providing young women with workshops, speakers, and lunchtime activities that help them get healthy and stay healthy. The 9th Annual Young Women’s Health Conference was held Saturday, October 12, 2013, at California State University, San Bernardino.

Annual Luncheon

Join us on October 28 for our Annual Luncheon! We’re excited to host Dr. Ruth Westheimer as our Keynote Speaker for this year’s Annual Luncheon event. She embodies the spirit of Planned Parenthood with her boldness, resilience, and deep commitment to caring for people. Dr. Ruth has been a long-time supporter of Planned Parenthood and is making the rare trip to Orange County to celebrate our mission, our work, and the important individuals who make it all possible — individuals like you!
