Official Statement from Planned Parenthood of Northern New England on Receiving Navigator Grant
For Immediate Release: Jan. 30, 2014
Planned Parenthood of Northern New England (PPNNE) is proud to be named a grantee for the Vermont Health Connect Navigator program. As an official navigator organization, PPNNE will provide in-person health coverage enrollment assistance and outreach activities.
PPNNE runs 11 Vermont health centers located in Barre, Bennington, Brattleboro, Burlington, Hyde Park, Middlebury, Newport, Rutland, St. Albans, St. Johnsbury, and Williston. PPNNE provides a comprehensive range of reproductive health services, as well as limited primary care, and our health centers serve as important safety-net providers for many Vermont communities. PPNNE is dedicated to improving access to quality health care and will continue to play a key role in increasing access to health insurance.
Being known as a trusted provider makes us a natural fit for starting conversations people about their insurance options and guiding them through the enrollment process. PPNNE looks forward to working in partnership with the state in moving health care reform forward and increasing access to quality health care.
