Making a Planned Gift

The most common type of estate gift is a bequest through your will or living trust. Here is the language you will need to include a gift to PPNNE in your will:

A Specific Bequest - "I give bequeath, and devise (dollar amount or description of gift) to Planned Parenthood of Northern New England or its successor, now or formerly in the city of Williston, 183 Talcott Rd, Suite 101, in the state of Vermont, to be used for its general purposes."

A Residuary Bequest - "I give, bequeath, and devise (all, or ___ percent of) the rest, residue, and remainder of the property, both real and personal, wherever situated, which I may own or be entitled to at my death, to Planned Parenthood of Northern New England or its successor, now or formerly in the city of Williston, 183 Talcott Rd, Suite 101, in the state of Vermont, to be used for its general purposes."

Other types of planned gifts include gifts that give you income for life including a charitable gift annuity, charitable remainder trust, or pooled income fund; and ways to leave a bequest without a will or trust including retirement plans, insurance policies, and bank/investment accounts.

PPNNE is a tax-exempt, nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization. Our Tax ID is 03-0222941.
