Victims Assistance Center

Serving the community since 1979 as a comprehensive victims services agency, the mission of the Victims Assistance Center of Jefferson County is to assist and provide direct services to victims/survivors of violence and crime in Jefferson County, NY. Victimization does not end with the violence of the crime itself. The Victims Assistance Center recognizes these complex issues and assists individuals and families in our community through a variety of direct services.

Volunteer Transportation Center

The Volunteer Transportation Center, Inc. (VTC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Thanks to the work of our certified Volunteer Drivers, Staff, Board of Directors and the generosity of our donors, the VTC provides essential rides to health, social, and other destinations for residents of Northern New York who have no other transportation alternatives.  We envision a community where transportation is available to everyone

ACR Health

ACR Health is a not-for-profit, community-based organization providing an array of support services to individuals affected by a wide range of chronic diseases, including HIV/AIDS, with the goal of positive health outcomes; as well as navigators to help individuals and businesses make informed health insurance decisions.

  • Prevent, through early identification and brief intervention and referral, the escalation of substance use and gambling behaviors to levels requiring treatment.

Anchor recovery Center of NNY

The Anchor Recovery Center is a safe, supportive environment for people in all stages of recovery as well as those seeking treatment and family members impacted by addiction. At the Center, you will find peers who have changed their lives for the better and want to assist others who find themselves in similar situations.

Through meaningful relationships, activities and a sense of community, the center does not just assist people in maintaining their recovery, it helps build a brighter future for those in need.

Resolution Center of Jefferson & Lewis Counties, Inc.

The mission of The Resolution Center of Jefferson & Lewis Counties, Inc. is to administer and support its programs (Mediation, CASA, Conflict Resolution, and Youth Court) in part by providing a continuum of services including life skills, development, dispute resolution and child advocacy. Through trained volunteers and staff, we offer inclusive, innovative approaches to empower individuals to resolve conflict and achieve positive outcomes for children, families and the community.

Family Counseling Services of NNY

Family Counseling Service of NNY was founded in 1958.  Our founders recognized the need for mental health services in Watertown and the surrounding communities.  We are a family focused agency, providing services not just to the mom, the dad, or the child, but to the whole family.

Transitional Living Services of Northern New York

"Transitional Living Services of Northern New York (TLS) is a private not-for-profit agency which was incorporated in 1977 to establish residential services for individuals in need of psychiatric, rehabilitative support who were unable to live independently in the community... provides services to children, adolescents and adults. TLS’ primary goal is to assist people to live in the least restrictive setting possible. This goal is accomplished through varying levels of support."

Samaritan Health - Behavioral Health 

Provide diagnosis, treatment and counseling to those in need. Including “outpatient psychiatry, intensive outpatient addiction services, alcohol and substance abuse treatment, and traditional outpatient addiction services.”

Mental Health Association in Jefferson County

Offering a drop-in recovery center, advocacy services, food for thought program, peer run housing first program, adult respite program, peer to peer project veteran services, adult behavioral health home and community-based services (BHCBS), care management services, warmline, and more.

Citizen Advocates

“Behavioral Health Urgent Care Centers help stabilize and provide treatment for individuals who need immediate support related to substance use and mental health… designed to provide you with immediate care for urgent mental health or addiction-related needs but not medical emergencies.”

Credo Community Center

“We are helping clients assess their level of participation in treatment and add additional services.” Offering services including assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, peer advocacy, daily dosing of methadone and buprenorphine, medication assessments and prescribing, care management, Narcan kits and overdose prevention training, referrals, and more.
