Vice President of Human Resources- 

The Planned Parenthood Mohawk Hudson Affiliate seeks a dynamic career-minded individual who can lead a dedicated staff in a collaborative, professional solution oriented environment.  Under the general direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Vice President of Human Resources  will  direct and lead the Human Resources Department  as it  develops, manages, implements and synchronizes Human Resources processes, systems, policies and procedures in our mission driven, multi-site, nonprofit health services agency.   As part of the Senior Leadership Team this position serves as the lead human resources advisor in management planning, policy development and decision making. This position coordinates with leadership and managers on employee relations, training, organization development, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits.  Bachelors degree in human resources, health care management or a related field and seven years of mid-level management experience in at least two of the following areas:  employee relations, change management, recruitment, performance management or compensation.  Experience working with a volunteer Board of Directors a plus.  In addition to competitive salaries, PPMH employees receive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, and a 403B Plan. The Revenue Cycle Manager will manage the daily operations and strategic objectives of the Agency’s revenue cycle through design, implementation, maintenance and management of all revenue cycle business functions and procedures for the revenue cycle collection process. This position will provide management and coordination of the organization’s revenue cycle and industry matrices including billing functionality, technology (including interface between the electronic practice management (EPM) and electronic health records systems (EHR), and service components determined by strategic and annual work plan goals. The Revenue Cycle Manager will identify and evaluate opportunities for new revenue sources and identify lost revenue through analysis of revenue cycle metrics, strategic partnerships and business development and provide day-to-day and strategic revenue related oversight of long-term and short-term programs in the health centers, health information technology and changes related to health care reform.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or a related field with a minimum of five years’ experience managing a medical billing and revenue cycle operation.  Master’s degree preferred. Three years of this experience must include supervision of medical billing staff.   Experience should demonstrate knowledge of: third-party payer contracts, Medicaid reimbursement, provider enrollment and compliance and electronic practice management and electronic health records systems and CPT-4 and ICD 9 and 10 coding requirements and OMIG billing compliance and all other carrier guidelines.  Athena Health Software experience is a plus.
