Education for healthier, happier communities.
Interested in inviting a Planned Parenthood educator to speak to your group? Planned Parenthood presentations are always medically accurate and age appropriate. Sexuality educators present on a variety of topics, including:
- Responsible decision making
- Healthy relationships
- Parent-child communication
- Birth control
- Sexually transmitted infections/disease (STI/STDs), including HIV
Settings vary widely and include public and private schools, alternative learning centers, places of worship, juvenile detention and adult incarceration, treatment centers, colleges and universities, group homes, community centers and many social service organizations.
Most presentations are available in and around the Twin Cities, Rochester, Duluth, and Bemidji. Presentations in Spanish or Hmong are available in the Twin Cities.
In addition, we provide PASE (Parents Are Sexuality Educators) forums where parent groups participate in guided discussions on the topic of teaching their children about healthy sexuality.
Planned Parenthood also participates in many community events, such as health fairs, to build awareness of and access to reproductive and sexual health.
