Healthy Youth Act will be heard on May 14

 

BOSTON— On Tuesday, May 14th, parents, young people, educators, health care professionals, religious leaders, advocates, and other members of the community will testify before the Joint Committee on Education in support of An Act Relative to Healthy Youth. This bill would ensure that schools providing sexuality education use a comprehensive, medically-accurate, and age-appropriate curriculum.

WHAT: Hearing convened by the Joint Committee on Education on An Act Relative to Healthy Youth.

WHO: The following individuals will be available at the hearing to provide comment:

  • Gabrielle Newton, Boston University student advocate
  • Jason Zelesky, Associate Dean of Students, Clark University
  • Celia McLane, mother of 4, Cohasset
