Want to stay up to date with the latest news from Planned Parenthood Los Angeles?  Join us on Facebook!

As we welcome the New Year, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is celebrating the arrival of two new health centers.  Our Antelope Valley health center opened its doors last month, and in March our 19th health center will open in the Watts/Willowbrook community.

Both of these regions face persistent health disparities, including Los Angeles County's highest rates of sexually transmitted infection and unintended pregnancy.  These health centers will provide high-quality, affordable reproductive care including life-saving cancer-screenings, contraception, STD testing and treatment, and annual exams.

As the economy continues to struggle, access to affordable health care is more important than ever: in 2011, over 120,000 Angelenos relied on us for care and education to keep themselves and their families healthy.  We know that people will continue to turn to us in the New Year, and are committed to serving the thousands of women, men, and teens who count on us to be there.

2012 will no doubt bring new challenges, and also new opportunities.  Thank you for your continued support in making this work possible.  Please join us in looking forward to another exciting year ahead.
