Planned Parenthood Los Angeles believes that women, men, young people and families deserve honest, evidence-based sexuality information that can help them engage in respectful intimate relationships and stay healthy. We also know that parents are the primary educators of their children, and that they often need help talking to their teens about sex. Planned Parenthood Los Angeles provides workshops and training on responsible sex education for both parents and their teens.

The Education and Outreach Department provides education on all sexual health topics in a wide variety of community settings. Our goal is to foster understanding about human sexuality and educate youth and adults about their right to health care. We do so by engaging the Los Angeles community, schools, parents and health professionals. Our educators provide training, professional development, sexuality education, and information about preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.

Our programs include current and evidence-based information and employ learner-centered and interactive methodologies.
