For College Students

vox_power.gifWhat is Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood?

Vox®: Voices for Planned Parenthood is a national program to educate and mobilize college students in support of reproductive health and rights. Through Vox, college students across the country organize events on and off campus to raise public awareness about reproductive rights, educate young people about sexual health, work with and support their local Planned Parenthood health centers, and mobilize advocates of reproductive freedom.

How Can Planned Parenthood of Kentucky Help Me on Campus?

Planned Parenthood of Kentucky recognizes the challenges and rewards of campus organizing.  We will help you every step of the way—from recruiting members to advocating for affordable birth control!

What Can Students Do to Support Reproductive Health and Rights?

Students can:
1. Invite a representative from Planned Parenthood of Kentucky to talk about what’s at stake for reproductive rights.
2. Host a film screening that addresses issues such as abortion, sexuality, and sex education—Planned Parenthood can suggest some films.
3. Organize a group of people to volunteer at your local Planned Parenthood, or come to an activist event at Planned Parenthood.
4. Sign up to be on the Planned Parenthood Action Network.  You’ll get all the latest news and event invitations.

How can I get involved?

Check out what VOX is already doing at campuses around Kentucky!  If your school isn't listed and you'd like to start a VOX group, emailppky@ppfa.org.
