By signing up for Forget Me Not: Pills by Mail you can get your pills mailed directly to you monthly or quarterly. Pills by Mail makes it easy and convenient for you to get your refills on time, every time.

How does Forget Me Not: Pills by Mail work?
In order to be a part of the Pills by Mail program, you will need a birth control prescription from Planned Parenthood of Illinois (PPIL). To get the prescription, you will need to have a consultation with a health care professional at PPIL. Contact the health center nearest you or request an appointment online to set up your consultation appointment.

Once you have a birth control prescription from PPIL, you will need to fill out a signed consent form to sign up for the Pills by Mail program. You will need a valid credit card and mailing address in Illinois to be a part of the program. Please contact the health center nearest you to get started.

Once you are signed up for the Pills by Mail program your pills will be mailed to you monthly or quarterly depending on how often you'd like to receive refills.When your prescription is set to expire we will send you a letter reminding you to make an appointment at PPIL to renew your prescription. If you would like to continue the Pills by Mail program, you can fill out an updated consent form during your visit.

Who is eligible for the program?
This program is available for private insurance and full fee patients only. Unfortunately, we do not accept Medicaid with the Pills by Mail program.

Do I have to pay for shipping and handling?
No. PPIL will cover the cost of shipping and handling. You will be charged only for the cost of birth control.

How are Pills by Mail packaged?
Pills are sent in padded envelopes. To maintain confidentiality, the return address will say Forget Me Not instead of Planned Parenthood of Illinois.

Can I pick up pills from PPIL if I am signed up for Pills by Mail?
Once you are enrolled in the Pills by Mail program all of your pills will be mailed directly to you. However, you can purchase extra pills or extension packs at PPIL after consulting with a health care professional.

What if I want to change my birth control method?
If you would like to change your birth control method you will need to call the health center nearest you to cancel your Pills by Mail and set up a birth control consultation at PPIL.

What if the price of pills increases while I am enrolled in Pills by Mail?
Once you are signed up for Pills by Mail you are locked in at the price you signed up for. Another great reason to sign up for Pills by Mail!

What payment forms do you accept with this program?
You will need a valid credit or debit card to sign up for Pills by Mail.Your credit or debit card will be charged before your pills are mailed out to you. If your card is declined we will send you a letter explaining that it was declined and that the pills could not be mailed.

Do you accept insurance with Pills by Mail?
Unfortunately, we do not accept private insurance or Medicaid with the Pills by Mail program.

How do I update my payment or contact information?
Call the health center nearest you to update your Pills by Mail credit card and mailing information.

PPIL is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged orders. In the unlikely case that this happens please call the PPIL health center nearest you.
