Planned Parenthood of Illinois (PPIL) works within locals schools to ensure that students are provided with medically accurate, age-appropriate, and comprehensive sexuality education. Upon request, PPIL offers individual or a series of educational sessions in a variety of sexual health topics including:
- Reproductive health care
- Sexually transmitted infections
- Healthy relationships
- Making decisions about sex
- Sexuality education with diverse populations
- Comprehensive sexuality education
- Religion and sexuality
Specialized education sessions can also be created to fit your needs.
PPIL also has many teaching tools and curricula available for use in sessions, including birth control kits (display of all methods) and the Empathy Belly (a pregnancy simulation suit). Materials and resources can also be made available for instructors upon request.
