We are currently looking for volunteers for our LNG-IUD study

We are recruiting participants from our Near North, Englewood, Austin, Rogers Park and Loop locations for our LNG-IUD study.

If you're between 18-35 years old, want a Hormonal IUD placed and are willing to receive daily/weekly text message surveys for 1-month of follow up data including a urine pregnancy test result one month after IUD placement, email [email protected] today.

Participate in the IPAD-BCW Study

The IPAD-BCW is a study to improve awareness and access to HIV prevention and sexual health among Black women living in Chicago.

Are you Black or African American? Are you a woman ages 16-40? You may be eligible to join a focus group with other Black women and receive a $100 e-giftcard. Call 312-622-4707 to learn more. 

Informed Consent & Confidentiality

Before you join any research study, you will be asked to provide  informed consent. This ensures that potential research participants are fully aware of the study's key elements. The research assistant will discuss the goal of the research project and your level of participation, describe the risks and benefits of participation, provide information on how to contact the research team and ethics committees, and describe the steps that are being taken to protect your confidentiality.  Participants are free to withdraw consent at any time.

Prior to joining, the research assistant will:

  • Answer questions
  • Help set realistic expectations
  • Provide a copy of the consent form & contact info
  • Will NOT persuade participant to enroll
