Young people need open and accurate information to make responsible decisions.
Parents can be their children's primary sexual health educator, even if they're not "experts". Planned Parenthood helps families talk about sexual health in a safe, fun environment that builds trust and provides the guidance that young people need for the culture we live in.
Our Education Department is available to provide outreach tailored to specific needs. Our professional staff will provide you with medically accurate, up-to-date and age-appropriate information.
Types of outreach include workshops, community presentations, trainings, health fairs, conferences, and other events.
Education and information have no boundaries. We have presented for schools (elementary-college), churches, youth groups, social service organizations, healthcare professionals, neighborhood groups, and families in private homes.
Just ask! We will do our best to accommodate you.
Our programs address sexual health, sexuality education, and politics surrounding reproductive rights. We are inclusive and believe that people have a right to this information regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or ability.
