Planned Parenthood of Western New York held its annual “We’re So Much More” free fundraising breakfast on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Sonoma Grille in Williamsville, NY. The morning was a great reminder to those in attendance of how much Planned Parenthood truly matters to so many.
A special thanks to the following for their Leadership gifts given to prior to the breakfast and totaling $45,100.

Their gifts were a tremendous force to help encourage others to give as generously as they could the morning of the event.
Karen J. Nelson, CEO of Planned Parenthood of Western New York, spoke at the breakfast. She reminded the roomful of over 100 friends and supporters that they matter. “You matter to Planned Parenthood because you make a difference to each patient, each face, each story. You matter to the teens, the families, the men, and the women who count on Planned Parenthood for the care they so desperately need.”
The event raised over $72,400 from individual and local corporations to support the comprehensive health care services, educational programs and advocacy work done by Planned Parenthood throughout Western New York.
David Brock, Chair of the Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood of Western New York, mentioned that the mission continues everyday, and support is still needed. Brock inspired those in the room to “fulfill the promise for the future of safe and affordable healthcare for everyone, one of the most significant investments that can be made in our community.” If you are interested in donating to Planned Parenthood, please visit us online at www.ppwny.org/donate.
