B.A.R.T. helps teens clarify their own values about sexual activity; make decisions that will help them avoid becoming infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS; and learn skills to put their decisions into action.   B.A.R.T also includes additional training classes on, Healthy Relationships, Contraception, Sexually Transmitted Infection prevention, and Sexual Violence.

Participants will complete a 12 week training program, meeting weekly for 2.5 hours over the course of 12 weeks. Training will take place, after school and dinner will be provided. Students will receive training and graduate to become a Peer Educator, providing accurate information to their peers.

Following the successful completion of training, each program participant will receive a $100 incentive, and be eligible to join the Teen Connections Alumni group. This group will meet monthly and participate in additional trainings, social activities, and volunteer opportunities.
