Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session students will be able to:

  • Understand the routes of transmission of HIV
  • Understand total abstinence from sexual activity and needle sharing is the only sure way to prevent HIV infection and STDs
  • Name two ways of protecting themselves from possible infection
  • Plan and practice strategies to resist peer pressure
