Ask Edna

By using and/or submitting a question through Ask Edna, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Service. Ask Edna functions solely as a venue to connect users and reproductive health educators for the exchange of information. It is intended for informational and educational use only.

Disclaimers. Ask Edna is provided "AS IS" without any warranty, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty as the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information contained on or received through the Ask Edna service. You bear all risk of acting on any content, information, or answers provided or otherwise obtained through use of Ask Edna. If you have a specific medical problem, please talk with your doctor or healthcare provider as soon as possible. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911. Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is giving general suggestions and/or advice concerning generic medical issues. Your particular medical concern can only be diagnosed and advice given by a licensed medical doctor after conducting a reasonably competent physical exam.

Limitation of Liability. In no event shall Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest be liable to you in any manner whatsoever for any direct, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising out of your use of Ask Edna. These limitations apply whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or any other basis, and even if advice has been given as to the possibility of such damages.

Intellectual Property. All copyrights, trademarks, services marks and logos on Ask Edna are the property of their respective owners. The use or misuse of these intellectual property rights is expressly prohibited. Please understand that your use of the Ask Edna service does not give you any license or right under any trademark, copyright, patent, or other intellectual property right of any third party.

Privacy. You do not need to provide any information that identifies you ("personal information") to use Ask Edna. You can read already submitted questions and answers on a completely anonymous basis. However, when you choose to submit a question, Ask Edna will collect some personal information, such as your e-mail address. This personal information will be sent to the Ask Edna health educators who field all questions submitted through the Ask Edna service. Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest has no control over, and is not responsible for, the privacy practices of these educators. Please note that the questions you submit and the responses you receive may be reviewed for quality assurance purposes and that aggregate (non-personal) information concerning the number of questions submitted through the Ask Edna service may be collected and disclosed to third parties.
