PPNYC invites young people to sign up to receive weekly health tips on their cellphones! Watch "NowUKnowSex Tips" on YouTube to learn all about it.

To help young people stay safe and healthy, PPNYC wants to make facts readily available to them. Study after study has shown that young people spend a lot of time text messaging. So it makes sense to reach them where they are – by sending them text messages.
This pilot program is free (although standard text message rates apply). Those who sign up will receive one text message a week with information on how to stay safe and healthy. Sample messages:
• Think ur clear if you dont have symptoms? Most STDs don't show. Get tested.
• By age 21, ALL women need a Pap test to check for cervical cancer. Talk to a Dr.
The program will also allow participants to search for the nearest health center by texting "CLINIC+" and their zip code to 61827.
