Planned Parenthood of New York City’s Teen Advocates are highly trained peer educators from Brooklyn, the South Bronx, and the Lower East Side of Manhattan who use interactive presentations to educate young people about teens' rights and access to sexual and reproductive health care. Teen Advocate workshops feature lively, engaging discussions with the audience. By encouraging audience involvement, the Teen Advocates draw the group into participating in their own education.
All workshops are provided FREE of charge. Schools, religious organizations, and other community groups can call PPNYC at one of the numbers below to schedule free workshops.
To schedule a workshop, please contact: Taryn Crosby, Teen Advocate Program Coordinator, (212) 274-7263, Taryn.Crosby@ppnyc.org.
