Community Outreach
PPNYC's mobile medical unit brings our high-quality health services into local communities around New York City! Clients can walk into the mobile medical unit and get the following expedited services:
- Birth control, with or without an exam
- Emergency contraception (the "morning-after" pill)
- Sexually transmitted infection screening and counseling, with or without an exam
- Oral HIV testing and counseling with immediate results
- Reproductive health exam, for women and men
- Screening for and enrollment into a public health insurance plan
The mobile medical unit provides reproductive health services in partnership with colleges in Queens and Brooklyn and community organizations serving African and Latino immigrants in the Bronx and Manhattan.
