PPNYC is launching a campaign from the ground up to make sure that public school students receive sex education. The Department of Education has already approved a curriculum, but a lot of schools are still not teaching it!

This is where YOU come in…

Each Principal has the power to make sex ed happen. Some Principals just need the information. Others need a nudge!

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3:

STEP 1: Make a list of possible contacts…Are you a public school parent? Is your friend’s son a student?

STEP 2: Talk to your contact(s) and ask if they’re interested in helping to make sex ed a reality in their school.

STEP 3: E-mail our Organizer with your school name and your connection’s contact information.

We’ll then touch base with you (or your contact) and provide a super simple plan, talking points, advocacy materials, and all the support you need to hit the ground running! We’ll even help you connect with other allies at your school. There’s power in numbers!
