Options Counseling
Our trained staff will provide you with unbiased and medically accurate information about your pregnancy to empower you to make an informed decision.  PPNCF can answer your questions and direct you to the services you need.  We work with a variety of community organizations to provide you with quality referrals for adoption, abortion, or continuing your pregnancy.

Abortion Loan Fund
PPNCF has created the Laura Knudson Women in Need Fund to provide loans to women who need financial assistance and are seeking an abortion. These funds are provided to women to help ease the burden of medical costs and to ensure that women receive quality health care. Eligibility requirements for this loan fund are that you must live in Alachua or Leon Counties and receive or are eligible to receive Medicaid. Contact one of our clinics today to see if you qualify.

For Women Under 18
Florida recently passed a law preventing teens under 18 from obtaining an abortion unless they involve a parent or go to court.  This law, known as the Florida Parental Notice of Abortion Act, requires physicians performing an abortion on a minor to notify one parent or guardian in person or over the phone at least 48 hours before the procedure.

While most teens turn to their parents when faced with this difficult decision, unfortunately not everyone has a family who will be supportive regardless of how she decides to handle an unplanned pregnancy.

You may have many reasons for not involving your parents in your decision to have an abortion. If you feel you can't talk with your parents about this decision, you have the right to seek legal help. You have the right to request a waiver from a court to end an unexpected pregnancy without telling one of your parents. You should discuss your reasons with your attorney.
