Planned Parenthood of Nassau County's (PPNC) staff of educators and trainers can tailor our workshops to meet the specific needs of your agency, school, or organization. All workshops are interactive through the use of videos, flip charts, models, games, and discussions. Each workshop is age-appropriate and will be formatted to fit the needs of the specific population. For topics, please review this list of popular workshops.

Workshops are scheduled at your convenience, day or evening hours, on weekdays or weekends. Our bilingual staff can conduct these programs in English or Spanish.

Street Outreach

Street outreach is a great way to talk to people one-on-one about healthy and responsible decision-making.

Through outreach activities, PPNC educators disseminate informational materials and interact with individuals in targeted, high-risk communities. Specially developed brochures and fact sheets provide information about family planning, reproductive health care, STIs and HIV/AIDS.

Informational pieces about PPNC's services ensure that all individuals contacted through street outreach know where they can go to obtain low-cost or free medical care.
