Prenatal Care

At PPNC, we offer prenatal care through the Prenatal Care Assistance Program (PCAP), which was designed to ensure that underserved, low-income women and teens have access to a broad range of medical, educational and counseling services.

If you are Medicaid-eligible, less than 20 weeks pregnant and are not considered "high-risk," you are eligible to enroll in PCAP. Once you have paid a sliding-scale fee for your pregnancy test visit, Medicaid covers the cost of the remaining care, including prenatal vitamins and nutritional counseling. If you don't know whether you're eligible, just call us.

PPNC's team of on-site professionals includes everything from certified social workers who perform psychosocial evaluations and nurse practitioners and physician assistants who deliver medical examinations, to lamaze classes and a certified nutritionist who counsels patients on diet.
