Through our Education Department, Planned Parenthood of Nassau County (PPNC) reaches more than 30,000 teens and families each year with information on healthy and responsible decision-making.
Our educators make presentations in schools, colleges, houses of worship, community-based organizations, juvenile detention centers and shelters. Topics range from puberty and self-esteem to birth control and abstinence.
All of our programs promote family communication and provide young people with the information and skills they need to make healthy choices both now and in the future.
