For Teens
Under New York State law, minors under the age of 18 who understand the risks and benefits of birth control can consent to reproductive health care without their parents' permission. PPNC provides confidential services regardless of age, but we encourage young people to involve a parent or trusted adult in the decision to seek health care and contraception.
