Are You Positive You're Not Positive?

June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. Know your staus--come in to a Planned Parenthood of Nassau County health center for free and confidential HIVtesting.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that 180,000 to 280,000 people nationwide are HIV-positive but are unaware of their status. HIV counseling and testing helps people with HIV to take steps to protect their own health and that of their partners, and helps people who test negative get the information they need to stay uninfected.

On National HIV Testing Day, PPNC will be offering free and confidential HIV testing at our Hempstead health center between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., at our Glen Cove Center between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and at our Massapequa health center between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

You don't need to make an appointment, and you can get results in less than 30 minutes. Please bring proper ID.

For more information call (516) 750-2500.
