Annual Luncheon and Symposium

Planned Parenthood of Nassau County's annual symposium & luncheon will be held on Monday, October 29 at the Garden City Hotel. This year's event, entitled "A New York State of Freedom" will feature a keynote address by Kirsten Moore, President & CEO of the Reproductive Health Technologies Project. This national nonprofit advocacy organization seeks to improve the political and commercial climate in the U.S. so more and better contraceptives and reproductive health products are available to women. Preceding the luncheon will be a syposium, featuring an informative and enlightening discussion about how we can continue New York’s tradition of standing at the forefront of the reproductive rights movement and championing women’s rights. Panelists include Ms. Moore, along with Barbara Bartoletti, Legislative Director, League of Women Voters of New York State, and Silvia Henriquez, Executive Director, National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health. The symposium is free of charge, and luncheon tickets start at $85. Sponsorships and journal advertising is available. For more information on this event, or to RSVP, please call (516) 750-2662.
