Annual GYN Exam

PPNC performs routine gynecological exams that include a pelvic exam, breast exam, Pap smear (if needed) and assessment of the heart and lungs.

Taking care of yourself is important! Routine gynecological care:

  • Prevents illness and discomfort
  • Allows for early detection of cancers of the breast and cervix
  • Detects sexually transmitted infections and other conditions before they cause serious damage
  • Prevents sterility
  • Promotes healthy pregnancy and childbirth

Women should have their first GYN exam when they turn 18 or when they decide to become sexually active.
