Securing Our Future
For the past 75 years, people have turned to Planned Parenthood of Nassau County for affordable reproductive health care, information on family planning and sexual decision-making, and the skills they need to lead healthy, productive lives. We are proud of this history, and we are committed to being here for the next 75 years, and beyond.
To commemorate this special occassion, we launched the 75th Anniversary Campaign: Securing our Future — a $4 million campaign to expand our capacity to provide reproductive health care services and information to the people in our community.
Campaign Goals
The Anniversary Campaign will:
- Expand access to our services, protect our perimeters from anti-choice buyers, and ensure that PPNC has the space available to meet future health care needs by purchasing the lot adjacent to our Hempstead health center
- Establish an express clinic on our “Plan Van” and take our services to people in our community, especially on college campuses
- Promote greater safety, quality and efficiency in health care delivery through the purchase and utilization of an Electronic Health Record system
- Empower people to make healthy, safe and responsible decisions by expanding sex education in the community
- Strengthen the power of the pro-choice, pro-family movement on Long Island by broadening, educating and mobilizing our network of supporters to advocate for women’s health and rights
