Chalk up a HUGE win for birth control access!  After TEN years of hard work, Planned Parenthood of Montana secured access to birth control for teens across Montana enrolled in Healthy Montana Kids, (otherwise known as CHIP).  We fought in the legislature and finally had to sue the state to get it, but we did!

This important victory reminds us of the importance of our advocacy work and why we fight every day for our rights to health care access and our rights to privacy.

The onslaught against our health care needs and our right to make decisions free from interference continues to escalate. We not only must fight access to birth control, fight against unnecessary ultrasounds, fight unconstitutional parental notification, and fight an unprecedented THIRD fetal personhood initiative; we are also looking ahead to probably the most contentious legislative session ever for women’s health in 2013!
