Professional Training



The Education and Training Department of Planned Parenthood Mid and South Michigan offers professional development and trainings to teachers, social workers, graduate students, health care professionals and other community-serving professionals. We offer several formal community trainings a year on a wide range of sexuality issues.


Additionally, we can create professional in-service trainings tailored to your organization’s needs.
Some examples of training topics include:

  • Nuts and Bolts of Sexuality Education
  • Teen Peer Education
  • Birth Control Methods and Updates
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Pregnancy Options Counseling and Referrals
  • Abstinence and Healthy Relationships
  • CPR

There Will Be A Training in Southfield on Wednesday, October 29  

The training is called, "Keeping Up With What's Down There: An STD/HIV and Contraception Update"

The cost of the training is $60
