Option #2: Panel--Abortion Past and Present
Panelists:
Elokin CaPece, MA, (Planned Parenthood) will talk about the early history of abortion in America.
Jennifer Marshall (Memphis Center for Reproductive Health) will talk about abortion as it was experienced before Roe v. Wade.
Nikole Gettings (MCRH) will talk about the current political climate around abortion rights. She will also answer questions on the medical aspects of abortion.
Each panelist will speak for 10 minutes and then the floor will open up for Q & A, which will last 20-30 minutes.
Option #3: Staff Training
An agency can choose to have staff training on an abortion-related topic. This would include medical walkthroughs on the types of abortion offered in Memphis and information about the services offered by local abortion providers. This can be customized to fit agency needs (1 hour).
