Patient Services and Education
Our core programs - affordable birth control and GYN care for women and sex education for teens and adults who work with teens - account for over 85% of our annual budget. This means that the vast majority of your gift is going directly back into the community.
Public Affairs
We are the largest, loudest pro-choice movement in Maryland. Politicians come to us because we not only lobby, but we are also a trusted provider of healthcare and education. We understand the issues from a deeply informed perspective like no one else. Using a part-time lobbyist and volunteers we are able to reduce the costs to the organization while still having a strong impact on positive, proactive pieces of legislation.
10 CENTS: INFRASTRUCTURE
We could not provide services to our patients if we did not have the administrative and finance staff ensuring that bills are paid, insurance is collected, information systems are kept operational, seven sites are supported, and funds are raised. We pride ourselves for having significantly lower administrative and fundraising ratios than national and state standards.
